Too good to be true...

BEWARE!

Above you will see an image of an actual letter mailed to my home. It is an attempt by an unknown entity to begin a dialogue under the assumption that I will receive a large sum of money. A quick search of the internet will reveal that similar letters are being distributed all around the world.

Folks, any thing that sounds too good to be true usually is.

Men ought not to try and take advantage of one another.

Paul states in 1 Thess 4:3-7

"It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

Live holy lives.

Help your fellow man, don't seek to harm them. Those who do will suffer the wrath of the One who created them, and against Him, no man can stand.

Don't fall pray to man's craftiness or schemes. Perhaps if we would not fall prey to their schemes, they would grow weary of attempting to profit from such foolishness.
